With the conclusion of the great war over one thousand years ago the races of Atreya entered into deep winter. With the Magi’s victory, and an ancient spell, the Elves and Dwarves have been purged from the land, and the Fae that remain have been hunted to the brink of extinction. Humanity stands enslaved to a magical order, with all that are born of power, pressed to the will of the Magi.

There is neither mercy, or escape from their iron rule, but no winter lasts forever and with the discovery of an artifact of great power, the seasons may at last change.
